Welcome and thank you for visiting my campaign website! I am running to become judge of the 73rd District Court and ask for your support and your vote.
The 73rd District Court is first and foremost a trial court that handles all forms of civil litigation, including cases involving family law, personal injury, contract, commercial, and employment law cases. The court covers Bexar County in its entirety and sits on the highest level of trial courts in Texas. It was most recently held by the late Judge Andy Mireles (Democrat) who presided over the court until his passing in December of 2009. I was honored when asked to run for the bench to continue the great legacy of the court.
I have spent over 12 years representing the people and small businesses of San Antonio and South Texas in a diverse practice. My experience, education and my upbringing give me an understanding of the people and issues that will come before the court.
If elected, I commit to strictly follow the law and dispense justice impartially and respectfully. I will also always remember that the court belongs to the citizens of Bexar County. The courts belong to the people regardless of wealth, race, gender or education and all people that come before my court will be treated equally and with dignity.
Thank you again for visiting my website and please feel free to browse around the site to learn more about the court and my background. I once again ask for your support and your vote and look forward to serving the people of Bexar County.
Thank you,
Roberto Rios
